Biography

Southbridge....Ruth L. (Donais) Osimo, 89, a former longtime resident of High St.died Thursday at Radius Health Care Center in Southbridge.
Her husband was the late Anthony Paul Osimo who died in 1987. She is survived by her sons Dennis Osimo of Hyannis, and Robert and his wife Diane Osimo of Southbridge,
4 grandchildren Anthony Osimo of Uxbridge, Jonathan Osimo of Sturbridge, Paul Osimo of Providence, and Cara Osimo of Boston, and 5 great-grandchildren. She also leaves a
sister -in- law Priscilla (Plasse) Donais of Webster who was her traveling companion.
She was predeceased by 2 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers Robert Donais and Rudolph Donais.
Born in Southbridge, daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Lavallee) Donais she lived most of her life in Southbridge and a brief time in Dudley. She was a member of Notre Dame Church, and the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality. She graduated from the former Notre Dame Academie in Southbridge, and retired in 1985 from Russell Harrington where she worked for 38yrs.
She and her husband were avid NY Yankee fans and enjoyed watching the games together.
The funeral will be Monday, July 12th, from Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy St. Southbridge with a Mass at 11AM at Notre Dame Church 446 Main St. Southbridge. Entombment will follow at Notre Dame Mausoleum in Worcester . A calling hour will be held at the funeral home prior to the mass from 9:30-10:30AM.
