Maya Irene Dahrouj

Brookfield - Maya Irene Dahrouj, 13, died Friday, June 23, 2017, at Boston Children's Hospital, Boston, MA, following an illness.  Maya is the beloved daughter of Roy and Nicole (Naylor) Dahrouj, and sister of Mason and Joshua Dahrouj.  She is also survived by her grandparents, Dennis and Melanie (Emerson) Naylor of Brookfield, MA; four uncles, Colby Naylor of Brookfield, MA, George Dahrouj and his wife, Caroline, of Lebanon, Dany Dahrouj and his wife, Grace, of Lebanon, Touma Dahrouj and his wife, Desiree, of Paris; an aunt, Joycelyn Chahine and her husband, Antoine, of Kuwait; her Aunty Missy, who took such loving care of Maya; and many other extended aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.  Maya was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Wadih and Therese (Obeid) Dahrouj.

Maya was born in Worcester, MA, on May 18, 2004.  She was a student at Trinity Catholic Academy in Southbridge, MA.  Maya loved her school and classmates.  She also enjoyed reading, swimming, cheering, and coloring.  Her favorite times were spent with her family, friends, and her dogs.  Maya's favorite color is purple - PLEASE wear something with the color purple to help celebrate and honor Maya at her services if you are able to. 

Maya's calling hours will be Tuesday, June 27, 2017, from 5-8pm, at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at 11am, at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA.  PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH.  Flowers are acceptable, or, because Maya loved her school, teachers, and many friends there, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Catholic Academy,11 Pine Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.  www.sansoucyfuneral.com
