Ware/Southbridge...Bernard L. Birch, 53, died July 5, 2017, at home after a long illness. He is survived by his mother Esther (Gerard) and her husband Harry Huffman of Fredericktown, MO, his daughter Meaghan Harings of Rillaar, Belgium, a brother William L. Birch and his wife Jodi of Kentucky, 2 sisters Kathleen Raymond and her husband Daniel of Holland, MA, Coleen Haddock and her husband Dennis of Ware, 2 step-brothers Craig Huffman of Missouri, Tracy Huffman and his wife Debbie of Missouri, 2 step-sisters Christie Rouch and her husband William of Missouri, and Tammy Holloway and her husband Scott of Missouri, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father William R. Birch, and his sister LeeAnn Daigle of Bondsville.
Bernard was born in Southbridge, October 22, 1963, growing up in Putnam, before moving to Palmer, Brimfield and Ware. He worked in the construction field, retiring due to illness. He enjoyed cars, and sports.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, at 3PM, July 13, 2017, at Brimfield Cemetery, Route 19, Brimfield, MA. A reception will follow at LaSalle Reception Center, 444 Main Street, (next door to Notre Dame Church) Southbridge, MA 01550 Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA 01550 is assisting the family.
